| Bio: | Character name: Corwen Black, nicknamed Birdy by John Hart, due to the Cyanopician's love of all things avian. Corwen herself often wears clothing adorned with feathers. Played by Gaynor/sistercarrion Gender: Female Race/Species: Mother: earth-bound refugee from Cyanopica, in the Pyrrhocorax solar system. Father: Human. Born in the 20th Century on Earth Age: 32 Physical description: Tall, 6'1", slim but curvy build. Wears a lot of black, practicality being the key to her dress. She also wears a lot of feathers, usually at least one or two in her hair or on her clothing. Dark, long hair, which reflects purple/blues in light. All black eyes, no whites to them. However, mostly wears full cover contacts, usually in a startling blue in order to pass as human on Earth. Weapons trained, but prefers to work with blades only. Natural telepath, but tends not to use it, as it makes her somehow feel too alien from the humans around her, unless in danger. Has a heightened sense of smell and taste as all Cyanopicians do. Personality: Intelligent, with a dry sense of humour. Tends to come across as aloof at first, but is warm, fiercely loyal and extremely trustworthy when you get to know her. Mostly hetrosexual, but has had relationships with women in her past. Bio: Born in London, UK, Earth, Corwen is humanoid-looking enough to not arouse suspicion. When both her parents were killed by an assasin from her Mother's home planet, when she was 15, she came to the attention of UNIT, who placed her under protective cover, being eventually 'adopted' by a couple who worked for UNIT. When she was of age, she worked briefly for them as a weapons consultant, before leaving, jaded with what she'd seen. Sick of war and the fallout thereof, she currently works mostly at the corners of society, watching out for 'alien' refugees from her Mother's planet, and others, doing what she can to assist. She's never been off-Earth as yet, and isn't capable of Time Travel. Corwen meets John in Paris in 2009, after they bump into each other, literally, whilst on the chase after a Jogun mecenary, who was getting dangerously close to tracking down witness-protected families that had been rehomed over there. It's just a month after the events at the end of 'Exit Wounds', and John is still roaming Earth in the 21st century, having been in linear time since then. Corwen and John have become firm drinking buddies over the last couple of weeks, sharing war stories, and have become intensely protective of each other. They've just arrived back in London, and are on a two day bender to celebrate when they arrive in Whoville. She hasn't slept with him, nor does she feel remotely attracted sexually towards him. He's an attractive man, but their relationship is more like brother/sister. She's fiercely protective of John, and has got him out of several close calls, as well as numourous brawls. Time taken in timeline: After the events of 'Exit Wounds' in 2009, John Hart does some travelling around 21st century Earth. Up until 'Exit Wounds', timelime is as canon, divirging only when John starts on the Jogun's trail and consequently meets Corwen in Paris. | |||||||||
